Bottom’s Up!
Cheap Date Night – Something for your Sweetie and Sweet Tooth
Oh it’s that time again! Time for cheap date night. Fast food, fast drinks and a quickie movie. What more can a girl ask for?
Not much, I’ll give you that! =)
These caramel apple parfaits SHOULD be made in a parfait glass. But seriously, eating them out of a nice bowl will work just as well. And the clean-up is even easier.
Fat free caramel apple dip (did I mention this is lo-cal?)
One apple, diced
Greek yogurt
Crushed peanuts (optional)
In the bottom of your cup or bowl, add in 1/3 the caramel, then 1/3 the apple, 1/3 the nuts and 1/2 the yogurt. Repeat. Top with the final third of caramel, apple and nuts. Serve chilled.
Easy Peasy.
And how about a Butterfinger to go with? This is absolutely one of my favorite drinks.
1 shot Butterscotch schnapps
1 shot Baileys
Ice.
It is sooooooo delicious, and the easiest drink ever to make.
Okay, got your parfait and your happy drink in hand? Be prepared, because this video shows you how to fold a t-shirt in 1 second.
Spoon in one hand, drink in the other, prepare to be amazed!
Do you fold your t-shirts? Hang them? Roll them into a tube and shove them in a drawer? I admit I use this method on every single one of my t-shirts – approximately 1574 of them. =)
Enjoy!

Cheap Date – Extreme 3D sidewalk art and Breakfast – in Bed?
I’m all about procrastination and things “taking too much time.”
Microwave popcorn is borderline on the takes too much time list. Four minutes? Seriously.
Therefore, when I’m needing REAL food, I try to come up with something that’s super-fast and semi-nutritious. What more can a girl ask for?
Well, a nice film to dine by, of course.
Eggs and Sausage
Spray a microwave safe bowl with cooking spray. Toss in a frozen sausage patty and nuke according to directions. Break apart in small chunks.
Pour in 1/2 cup of Egg Beaters.
Nuke for 1 min.
Stir.
Cook 1 more min, sprinkle some cheese on top and stir.
Add salt and pepper if desired.
While your eggs and sausage are bubbling away, mix up a batch of this lovely drink.
The Fuzzy Mimosa
1/2 shot peach schnapps
Dry champagne
Orange Juice
In a tall fluted glass pour in schnapps, fill 2/3 full with champagne, top with OJ.
Now pop a squat in front of the computer and nosh while watching this great film of 3D Sidewalk Chalk Art
yummmmmm….

Cheap Date – Tim Conway the Dentist and Dessert
I LOVE Tim Conway. I have his autograph. =) I think he’s one of the most understated comedians in the history of TV. So today, I’m sharing that love with you, as well as a bonus of dessert for your sweet tooth and a happy little drink to go with.
Peach Cobbler
2 cans peaches in syrup
1 pkg yellow cake mix
1/2 stick of butter
Preheat over to 375. Dump peaches in 9×13, juice and all. Pour cake mix (dry) over top. Cut butter into slices and lay over top of cake mix. Add cinnamon if you want! Bake 45 min.
Top with ice cream. Of course.
Fuzzy Melonberry
Pour in a happy glass filled with ice
1/2 shot peach schnapps
1/2 shot melon liqueur
Fill with cranberry juice
Now sit back with your goodies, and enjoy this peach of a clip from the Carol Burnett show. Watch it the first time for Tim, the second time for Harvey Korman.
And sure, go ahead and tug on your ear if it makes you happy. =)

We once again head into the land of cheap, where dinner is fast, drinks are easy and the watching is free. What more can you ask for?
First, we’ll start off our exciting evening with Chicken Fajitas. No way, Carrie! It’s too much work!
Piffle. Watch this.

Let simmer for a bit while you warm your flour tortillas in the microwave between wet paper towels.
For each serving, top a flour tortilla with a couple spoonfuls of chicken mix, top with cheddar cheese and lettuce and salsa and sour cream if you’d like.
Done!

Bloody Mary Mix
Worcestershire Sauce
Tabasco
Rim a tall glass with a salt and pepper mix.
Pour in bottle of beer.
Top with 1/2 cup Bloody Mary Mix
Spice her up with seasonings.
Garnish with olives or celery sticks

‘Tis the season for hot soup and cold fingers! Luckily, if we get the soup going, it’ll take care of the fingers, or feel free to slide them up under your SO’s sweatshirt. =)
