Fatal Secrets by Allison Brennan is a heart stopper. Including human trafficking, murder, money-laundering and passion, this book is a definite page turner.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Sonia Knight was once a victim of human traffickers. Now she’s after the bad guys. When the FBI blow one of her stings to take down the traffickers mastermind and Sonia’s informant has disappeared, Sonia kicks some FBI ass.

FBI agent Dean Hooper has been putting the bad guys away his own way – on tax evasion charges. When the Bureau teams up with ICE, Sonia is furious, as is Hooper. As they work together though, resentment changes to respect.

There’s suspense, action, a little humor, a little sex, a lot of guessing on who’s bad and who really isn’t. And a bit of murder as well. Excellent reading, didn’t want to stop, and only did when I fell sound asleep. =)

Hard to resist by Samantha Hunter is a Harlequin Blaze. Hot and steamy oh yes. So can you have hot steamy sex AND a good story? Absolutely.

Heroine Lacey Graham is photographer for Bliss magazine. Her assignment? A photo shoot with twelve heroic hunks. Gosh, does that sound like a boring assignment or what? Makes me want to drop my day job and learn how to run a lens.

Hero Jarod Wyatt is a Texas Ranger who’s chosen to participate as one of the hunky heros. Gotta love a man in Wranglers and a cowboy hat eh?

There’s thrills and chills and plot twists galore. The sexual tension between Jarod and Lacey is hot hot hot. The sub plots are spine tingling and the secondary characters add a whole new dimension to the story.

Very enjoyable read. 4 out of 5 donkey tails tail_sm

Bending the Rules by Susan Andersen was a sweet read. I truly enjoyed every hour of it. Even shed a few tears at the end. Wah! =)

Poppy Calloway designs greeting cards, paints murals and is definitely her own woman. But when she meets Detective Jason de Sanges will she have met her match? Darn tootin’ she has! And what a fun ride Susan Andersen makes of it. There’s comedy, romance, suspense and hot hot sex. Great writing, totally believable characters and that old Opposites Attract plot works great. I believe this is book two in a series of three, and I have absolutely no problem buying the other two!
